Considering going to see Rogue One in mind-blowing 70mm IMAX?

Well, you’ve just received your strongest reason yet – and it has nothing to do with the events occurring in a galaxy far, far away.

Instead, 15 IMAX screens across the world will reportedly offer an exclusive seven minute preview of Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan’s upcoming WWII epic starring Tom Hardy and the big-screen debut of one Harry Styles.

The war epic, which hits cinemas in July next year, tells the true story of Operation Dynamo, the real life mission to evacuate 300,000 Allied troops from Nazi occupied Dunkirk… Read the full story

Confusion and controversy reigned supreme earlier this year after it was revealed that Michael Bay had turned Winston Churchill’s home into Hitler’s HQ for the fifth offering in the Transformers franchise.

But now we’ve seen our first glimpse of the unlikeliest meeting of two things – fascism and giant robots – after the teaser trailer was released for Transformers: The Dark Knight.

And while we’re *still* not entirely sure what’s happening, we suspect that there’s some kind of time travel plot – with a medieval action sequence on display only moments before the swastika is briefly flashed on screen.

In a statement published on Monday in Italian, the 76-year-old said Marlon Brando’s use of a stick of butter in the scene with Maria Schneider was the only improvised element not already in the script, reports Variety.

Filmmakers have created a literal version of Bohemian Rhapsody that nicely captures the drama of Queen’s iconic song in a thrilling short film.

Unless you were living under a rock (or born in the last 10 years) you’ll remember the song tells the story of a young man who tells his mum he’s just ‘killed a man’ and gotten himself into all sorts of strife.

‘Wait, you guys aren’t the real Avengers!’ Spidey announces as he arrives on the scene.

Trump supporters have demanded a boycott of the upcoming Star Wars prequel, Rogue One, because the film’s writers and directors have slammed the President-elect Donald Trump.

In November the film’s screen writer Chris Weitz wrote in a now-deleted tweet: ‘Please note that the Empire is a white supremacist (human) organization. Opposed by a multi-cultural group led by brave women.’

Chris and his co-writer Gary Whitta then connected the shocking events of this year’s US election to the forthcoming movie’s themes of rebellion by adding a Read the full story

Earlier this year, it was claimed that a little-known movie called God Particle was actually the third Cloverfield instalment after JJ Abrams became attached to the product as a producer.

It’s rather strange, given that he stars in two of the greatest festive films ever made, that Alan Rickman once declared on screen that we should call off Christmas.

Let’s put the late, great Rickman’s bah-humbugging in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves aside for a moment, however, and concentrate on his roles in Love Actually and Die Hard.

These two very different Christmas movies (one says you should follow your heart; the other that you should follow terrorists around in your bare feet) have one thing in common: Rickman rocks.
