Ewan McGregor might be trying to (use the) force his way back into the Star Wars franchise as Disney continues to make spin-offs galore in the galaxy far, far away.

The 45-year-old Scot says he would love to whip out his lightsaber again to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi for a dazzling solo outing – like Harrison Ford’s iconic character Han Solo.

Ewan played the Jedi master in critically panned-but financially lucrative Star Wars Episodes I, II, and III (with Alec Guinness playing the role in the original film trilogy) – and… Read the full story

Is The Little Mermaid as innocent as it appears? (Picture: Walt Disney)

As good clean family films go, Disney’s The Little Mermaid has to be pretty near the top of the heap – but is it really as innocent as it looks?

Because despite charming younger viewers the world over with the adventures of Ariel and her attempts to swap fins for feet after falling for Prince Eric, it seems there is one scene in particular which left some people up in arms.

That scene, folks, is the wedding between Eric and the disguised Ursula – in which the officiating minister appears to be… Read the full story

Fans of Harry Potter may be surprised to learn Emma Watson wore fake teeth during one of her scenes as Hermione Granger.

In the books, the student witch has prominent front teeth – or an ‘overbite’ as dentists call it – which is something she feels self-conscious about.

Seeing as Watson, who was cast as Hermione aged ten, didn’t have particularly large teeth, director Christopher Columbus decided to equip her with fake ones for a scene that made the final cut of the first movie.

So, did you spot Hermione’s falsies?
