Enchanted 2 is ACTUALLY happening and it has found a director
The belated sequel to 2007’s Enchanted is finally in the pipeline, with a director and planned filming date in place.
Disney’s Enchanted is an often forgotten gem in the recent studio pantheon, which starred Amy Adams as Princess Giselle who finds herself transported from her joyous fairy-tale animated world of Andalasia into the real-life hardships of 21st century Manhattan in New York.
Now the planned sequel, titled Disenchanted, is set to finally go-ahead with filming starting next year.

The first teaser trailer for the forthcoming Power Rangers reboot has landed online, and fans are finding it all pretty hard to comprehend.
Following the relatively mixed response to the new Power Rangers suits earlier this year, the first official trailer has arrived ahead of a panel at New York Comic Con, hoping to tickle our memories of the beloved 90s TV show and those action figures we all threw around with reckless abandon.

Ben Affleck has admitted he does not have a script or a budget for his upcoming Batman movie, despite having a title for it.
The actor, who played the vigilante hero in Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad, has announced he will direct a related film of his own called The Batman, according to IMDB. It’s due for release in 18 months’ time.
But talking during a Facebook Live interview, the Oscar winner divulged that while Warner Bros are backing him, he has no firm idea of how much money he’ll have or what the story will be.

Forest Whitaker has joined the impressive cast of Black Panther
Marvel movie Black Panther has added Forest Whitaker to its already bulging ensemble cast of top Hollywood talent.
The Oscar-winning actor, who will be next seen in Star Wars prequel Rogue One, will join Chadwick Boseman – who made his debut bow as the titular hero in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year.
It’s believed that Whitaker will play Zuri, an elder of Wakanda – the fictional country ruled by Boseman’s King T’Challa.

Legendary Polish director Andrzej Wajda has died at the age of 90.
The director, who was considered to be a titan of world cinema, was known for his towering work that chronicled the state of Poland throughout some of the most challenging periods in its history.
His trilogy of wartime movies (A Generation, Kanal and Ashes and Diamonds) were hailed for their portrayal of brave resistance fighters who bravely battled against Nazi occupation – taking in historical events such as the Warsaw Uprising of 1944.

Ron Perlman doesn’t think that Hellboy 3 will ever happen
It’s bad news for Hellboy fans.
Ron Perlman, who played the titular cigar-chomping hero in Guillermo Del Toro’s big screen adaptation of the Dark Horse comic, has said that a third instalment is unlikely.
Speaking at New York Comic Con, Ron said that he’s stopped talking about a possible sequel to 2008’s Hellboy 2: The Golden Army – because both he and director Guillermo Del Toro are too damn busy.

Guy Ritchie ‘in talks to direct live action version of Aladdin’
Guy Ritchie could be about to make Disney’s wish come true by signing on to direct a live action version of Aladdin.
The classic 1992 animation is getting a reboot, which according to The Hollywood Reporter, will be ‘an ambitious and non-traditional take’.
Big Fish’s John August has written the script while The Lego Movie‘s Dan Lin will act as producer.
It’s the latest in an increasingly long line of live action remakes following on from Maleficent, Cinderella and most recently The Jungle Book.

Kelsey Grammer has thrown some serious shade at the current cinematic offerings from Hollywood.

A fan thinks they’ve deduced exactly who Andy’s mum really is.
And those clever Pixar bods might have given us a hint that’s been staring us in the face all this time.
Not much is given away about Andy’s parents, but from the mere sighting of a hat a fan named Jon Negroni thinks he’s worked out the link between Andy’s mum and Andy’s toys.
