Emma Thompson has proven she can be trusted as much as any high court judge after keeping tight-lipped over her new film role.

The 57-year-old double-Oscar winner has been cast as high court judge Fiona Maye in the big screen adaption of Ian McEwan’s The Children’s Act.

And it looks like Emma is going to great lengths to ensure she gives an honest portrayal of a lawmaker after she was spotted trotting into London’s Royal Courts of Justice on Tuesday but kept pretty silent over what she was doing there.

And 23 years later it turns out that Vinessa Shaw, who played Allison, is still all those things – and she doesn’t look like she’s aged a day.

And she still has that super cool straight blonde hair.

It is the adaptation of the literary thriller that attracted huge acclaim when it was released in 2015 – but it seems that The Girl On The Train’s big screen debut is struggling to attract the same levels of excitement.

Early reviews for the adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ best-selling novel have lavished praise on Emily Watson’s performance, but it’s said to be one of the film’s only redeeming features.

In the film, Blunt plays alcoholic Rachel Watson, who becomes involved with the intrigue surrounding a missing woman that she had been observing… Read the full story

Are they dead? A new theory says so (Picture: Paramount Pictures)

Remember that fan theory that made Grease seem a hell of a lot darker than we could have ever imagined?

Horrifically, it claimed that Danny and Sandy were DEAD the whole time in Grease, and had some weirdly convincing evidence that backed up the theory.

Firstly, there was the moment in Summer Nights where Sandy sings about Danny saving her from drowning – but the theory claimed that he didn’t save her.

And then there’s the whole symbolism of the line ‘Goodbye to Sandra Dee’ in the song… Read the full story

If you’ve ever had your suspicions that there’s more to Kermit and Miss Piggy’s relationship than meets the eye, then this might just about prove you right.

Because in a union we have to admit we never saw coming, YouTuber Darth Blender has remade Fifty Shades Of Grey – only with the two loved-up Muppets in place of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

Yes, Kermit is now Christian Grey, Miss Piggy is now Anastasia Steele – and the chemistry between them is, ahem, sizzling.

OK, so there’s a bit less of the Red Room and no actual blindfolds or whips on display. But there is a whole lot of clever editing, which seamlessly matches clips from a host of Muppet classics to the trailer’s original dialogue.

Or, as Darth Blender puts it: Miss Piggy is a modest and virgin student, and suddenly meets the powerful and… Read the full story
