The long-awaited sequel to 2003’s Bad Boys 2 now has a snazzy official title, along with a release date which might be too far away for some.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are both set to reprise their roles in the outrageous buddy-cop franchise, in the now officially titled… Bad Boys For Life.

But while the title is pretty flash, the release date might provoke a stern heart-busting grimace, as it’s been pushed back over half a year from June 2 2017 to January 12 2018.

The director of Wonder Woman has fiercely defended the upcoming movie after rumours started to fly that the project is a ‘total mess’.

Perhaps DC fanboys are concerned the next chapter in the Justice League shared cinematic universe will be as much a disaster as the universally panned efforts Batman V Superman, and Suicide Squad.

But critically acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, 45, is not going to take any criticism of her forthcoming project when there is still a year to go before it’s actually released.

First pictures have been released of upcoming sci-fi film, Passengers, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt – and it’s looking pretty splendid.

In the film, Jim Preston (Pratt) and Aurora Dunn (Lawrence) are the only two passengers (get it?) who are awakened from their sleep chambers after a ship malfunction, leaving them as the only ones awake on a 5,000 people vessel 90 years from their colony planet destination.

The photos, which debuted on Entertainment Weekly, show Pratt and Lawrence pulling their best Hollywood glares through an opening, which could be into outer space or a sniffing peephole… Read the full story

Tom Hiddleston’s character Loki, right, did not make the final cut of Avengers: Age Of Ultron (Pictures: Marvel)

Tom Hiddleston has kindly explained why it was that his part in last year’s Avengers movie ended up being cut.

The British actor, who’s played Thor’s archenemy Loki in some Marvel movies, shot at least one scene for Avengers: Age Of Ultron; the second official Avengers film to date.

But his hard work – acting in a Thor nightmare – did not make it to the screen and fans have been dying to know why ever since, considering the movie was a whole 2h 22m long.

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend now has the answer, and it lies in ‘confusing’ plot meanderings leaving audiences foxed rather than sub-par acting or… Read the full story

Suicide Squad has managed to top the North American box office for a second week, despite suffering a massive drop from last weekend’s opening.

DC’s villainous blockbuster mash-up scored a record-breaking August opening even after being slammed by critics, and has managed to stay afloat at the top for a second week running – taking an estimated $43.8m (£33.9m) between Friday and Sunday.

While the film managed to triumph over competition from adult animated comedy Sausage Party and Disney’s Pete’s Dragon, Suicide Squad’s numbers show a 67% drop on last weekend’s opening numbers.

The beef between The Rock and Vin Diesel might have been put to bed as the cast the latest chapter in The Fast & Furious franchise got together for a chummy photo opportunity.

Last week, eyebrows were raised and social media went into meltdown when The Rock blasted an unnamed fellow cast mate of Fast 8 for not working hard enough on the film set.

Cue a thinly veiled swipe back (and therefore self-outing) by Vin Diesel a couple of hours later and… Read the full story

While adult animation Sausage Party might be doing pretty great things at the box office right now, it sounds as though working on the film was anything but fun.

Some rather serious accusations are being directed towards the creators of the Seth Rogen penned hit – currently riding high at the box office around the world – by an army of animators who say they were mistreated during the production process.

Directors Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan sat down for an interview with Coffee Brew where they bragged about keeping the costs… Read the full story

Suicide Squad fans have noticed Jared Leto is MISSING from several press tour snaps, fuelling speculation about his whereabouts.

Last month, the 44-year-old said that playing the joker felt ‘intoxicating to have no rules’, and it’s hard to dispute his enthusiasm and commitment to the role.

But it could be also fair to say gifting anal beads, dead pigs and used condoms to some cast and crew during production of the film was a case of Leto taking the method acting a little bit too far.

Which makes this series of Suicide Squad press shots doing the rounds… Read the full story

Meryl Streep has declared she wants Amy Schumer to play her in a biopic.

The Hollywood actress was quick to name the comedian when asked in an interview with The Huffington Post who should portray her in a potential film project.

It’s a surprising choice considering 35-year-old Amy, known best for her sketch show Inside Amy Schumer, has only appeared in one feature film – romantic comedy Trainwreck.

But Oscar winner Meryl’s response when asked for a name was very clear and to the point: ‘Amy Schumer, of course.’
