There’s a chance that a Ghostbusters sequel might not be happening.

The Hollywood Reporter say that the Ghostbusters reboot is on course to lose money.

According to the site movie experts say it will struggle to make $225 million. It needs to make $300 million to break even.

Despite previously hoping this film would kickstart a Ghostbusters ‘universe’ – that would include an installment with an all-male cast to keep the hardcore fans of the original sweet – Sony… Read the full story

The relentless attack levelled at the all-female Ghostbusters reboot hasn’t stopped Hollywood from running with its current love of all-female remakes.

Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Rihanna (!) are all lined up to star in Ocean’s 8, the remake of Clooney/Pitt/Damon vehicle Ocean’s Eleven, which itself was a remake of a Sinatra/Martin/Davis Jnr vehicle. We may have reached peak remake, here.

As well as this, there’s also the ongoing plan to make an all-female Expendables movie (nicknamed Expendabelles), although that’s gone a bit quiet of late.

Robin Williams didn’t just know how to make us laugh, he knew how to make us cry too.

Nowhere is this more apparent than his moving speech in the comedy Jack.

With the news that an all-female cast will be leading the Ocean’s 8 remake, angry Ocean’s 11 fans have been complaining about it online.

Suicide Squad is not as sexist as critics want you to think

They created the hashtag #FeministAMovie as a way of protesting the reported casting of Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling, Nora Lum and Helena Bonham-Carter in the second reboot of the original 1960 film.

Because, after decades of male-led movies with women in reductive roles, it’s not fair that Hollywood is producing female-led remakes.

Jonah Hill doesn’t have much hope for the planned Jump Street and Men In Black franchise crossover film, casting doubt over whether it’ll happen at all.

All signs earlier this year pointed to production on the film perhaps starting soon, with The Muppets’ James Bobin set to direct the feature, but in a new interview with 22 Jump Street star Jonah Hill, he isn’t too enthusiastic about progress on the sequel.

During the promo for his new film, War Dogs, Jonah said (via Toronto Sun): ‘I had the idea.… Read the full story

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has defended his eyebrow raising rant in which he basically called out his Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel as a lazy so and so.

Earlier this week, the 44-year-old beefcake went on an Instagram rant saying how he was sick and tired of some cast members not pulling their weight on the set of Fast 8.

Evidently, it turned out he was talking about Vin, 49, whose ego, it seems is getting out of touch with reality.

A supermarket set up a load of animatronic food stuffs for Seth to use to frighten the unsuspecting public in a bid to show them ‘our food has feelings.’

‘Did you just grab my face?!’ he berates one shopper trying to select a cantaloupe melon.

The Purge: Anarchy… surprisingly quite good (Picture: Rex)

Life on Netflix can be hard.

After you’ve gone through the big action blockbuster titles – your Captain Americas, your Hobbits and, if you’re feeling particularly masochistic, your Transformers – you might be on the lookout for something a little more subtle and a little less obvious.

Such searching tends to lead you down various blind alleys, and almost always ends with Adam Sandler’s face beaming back up at you. Yikes!

Margot Robbie’s newest role suggests she just can’t stop swinging through the air (Picture: Getty)

Margot Robbie has been cast as 1920s trapeze artist Lillian Leitzel in an upcoming biopic.

After swinging about in Tarzan and showing off her aerial maneuvers as Suicide Squad’s ass-kicking circus freak Harley Quinn, this role seems like a pretty inevitable step for Margot.

She underwent a great deal of ballet-based training for Suicide Squad, too – so both her acting skills and athleticism will help her play fiery-tempered German legend Leitzel in the movie adaptation of 2013 book Queen Of The Sky.

Cillian Murphy has hit out against the current onslaught of superhero movies and TV shows, in a hilariously scathing attack.
