Louis Theroux is taking on one hell of a giant in his latest movie (Picture: BBC)

Louis Theroux might have made his bravest documentary yet, according to the trailer for his latest movie about Scientology.

For the film, the bespectacled journalist worked with former ‘baddest ass dude in Scientology’ Marty Rathbun to recreate scenarios allegedly experienced by those belonging to the Church.

The 46-year-old did this after failing to get in touch with the current head of Scientology, David Miscavige, who worked as an assistant to chuch founder L. Ron Hubbard as a teenager.

With actors on board as well as those apparently in the know about what went on behind closed doors, Theroux’s elaborate reconstruction looks pretty… Read the full story

The San Diego Comic Con is a temple of incredible cosplay efforts. This much we know.

But former Mythbusters host Adam Savage might have just created this year’s best effort – after dressing as the vicious bear that tore Leonardo DiCaprio to shreds in The Revenant.

The result is a thing of incredible ambition, and even comes complete with a lifeless dummy of fur-trapper Hugh Glass, the character played by DiCaprio.

It’s the latest annual comic-con outfit for Savage, and comes after he dressed as an astronaut WITH real-life Spaceman Chris Hadfield last year.

The One Direction star, 22, was photographed on set in the seaside town of Swanage, near St Albans – with a black substance all over his mug.

The heartthrob was later spotted getting on to a real, old steam train on which he lent out of a window, swigging a bottle of beer and eating pastry rolls.
