The car that killed Anton Yelchin was being recalled due to gear shifters confusing drivers, it has been reported.

Yelchin, 27, died on Sunday after his car pinned him against a mailbox and a security gate at his home in Los Angeles.

AP say National Highway Traffic Safety Administration records show the model, a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was part of a global recall made by Fiat Chrysler in April.

Drivers apparently complained of having trouble telling if they had put the vehicle in park.

Sigourney Weaver says Neill Blomkamp’s Alien film will give Ripley a ‘satisfying’ ending.

The eighth installment of Harry Potter finally opens in the West End later this month – but is it about to get the big screen treatment?

New rumours have suggested that Warner Bros bosses are considering the move after they reportedly registered a trademark for the title Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which will include all future merchandise and… you guessed it, any movie productions.

According to Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill they were UH-mazing.

Original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman has revealed the plot of the third installment which never got made due to Bill Murray’s lack of co-operation.

While the new reboot features a cameo by Murray, the 65-year-old actor was not keen to return to Ghostbusters after the mediocre sequel in 1989, particularly not if his character was alive.

Desperate to make another film, Reitman therefore took Murray at his word and moulded the plot around his alter-ego Peter Venkman dying early on.
