Ivan Reitman, who directed the first film in 1984 and was producer on the reboot, has revealed that several sequels are in the works at Sony.

When Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was released last week, Potterheads across the globe flocked to the cinema to get their first glimpse of Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander.
But while J.K. Rowling’s box office smash might be the first time we’ve met Newt in person, it turns out that he was very much a part of Hazza P’s big screen adventures too.
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Newt actually features in 2004’s Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, with his name appearing during a scene where Fred and George Weasley teach Harry how to use the Marauder’s Map.
