Jared Leto has revealed what he’d like to see from a potential spin-off film between The Joker and Harley Quinn.

While reception to DC’s Suicide Squad has been mixed at best, most viewers and critics agree two high-points of the whole predicament is Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Jared Leto’s neglected spin on The Joker.

The 44-year-old has previously spoken out over how there’s enough deleted footage for a Joker film, but it seems the actor quite likes… Read the full story

Chris Pratt has been credited for roping Kurt Russel into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in next year’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The lovable 37-year-old actor plays Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) in the superhero film series and already shares screen time with top acting talent including Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper.

But when it came to casting his on-screen father (the ‘living planet’ named Ego), the film’s director James Gunn was stumped until Chris suggested Kurt, 65.

Star Wars beauty Daisy Ridley has teased the title of the next installment in the sci-fi saga – but don’t get too excited.

The director of Star Wars: Rogue One has explained exactly what the title of the sci-fi drama is all about.

Gareth Edwards takes the wheel for the Star Wars spin off and says the name of the film relates to the whole feel of the project.

‘Rogue One is a military call sign to some extent, but this is the first film that’s gone off-piste and is not part of the saga — or the Anakin story — so it’s the “rogue” one, you know,’ Gareth explained.

Military references… sounds a little… Empiric, don’t you think?

Chinese cinemagoers have claimed it isn’t Matt Damon’s acting that’s making them vomit (Picture: Universal Pictures)

Screenings of the new Bourne movie have left nauseated audiences in China throwing up in the toilets.

Matt Damon’s latest blockbuster Jason Bourne, which cost £91,000,000 to make, has been showing almost exclusively in 3D over in the communist country.

But it sounds the combo of shaky camera work, employed by director Paul Greengrass, and a digitally-heightened visual display has proven very unpalatable indeed.

The Hollywood Reporter reported one unfortunate Bourne fan as saying on social media site Weibo: ‘I really felt sick during the fight scenes when I watched it in 3D. It was like a low-budget movie. I need to… Read the full story

It’s one of the most iconic films from the 80s – but we would know Back To The Future by an altogether less snappy name if one studio exec had his way.

The film’s title is a perfect encapsulation of everything that it stands for, with Marty McFly and Doc Brown travelling through time to ensure that everything remains as it should in the sleepy US town of Hill Valley.

But try telling that to the studio… Read the full story

It looks like Julie Andrews has given her seal of approval to Emily Blunt playing Mary Poppins – at least, according to Blunt herself.

While Dick Van Dyke has expressed doubts about the ‘difficult’ project, Blunt claims 80-year-old Andrews was positively jubilant to hear who will play her iconic role in Mary Poppins Returns.

Emily told EW: ‘Rob [Marshall, the sequel’s director] said he was in the Hamptons, and he saw [Andrews], and he said, “It’s top secret, but Emily Blunt’s playing Mary Poppins”. And she went, “Oh, wonderful!”.’

When Rob passed this news on, Emily was unsurprisingly chuffed. ‘I… Read the full story
