Disney movie The Rocketeer is getting a revival.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walt Disney Studios are bringing the 90s movie back for a sequel set six years after the original.

The Rocketeer, starring Billy Campbell and Jennifer Connelly, is about a young pilot who uses a jetpack to become a flying superhero.

In the revamp – apparently titled The Rocketeers –  the original Rocketeer has disappeared after fighting the Nazis, so it will be up to a new pilot to take up the mantle and fight those who want to use the Rocketeer’s technology for evil.

And the new Rocketeer will be a black woman.

Despite Jared Leto going horrifyingly method to get into his role as The Joker, it hasn’t completely paid off.

The film sees CIA agent Amanda Waller assemble a team of villains to take on a life-threatening mission to protect the city following the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Official reviews were released on Tuesday night, and ‘disastrous’, ‘flat’ and ‘boring’ are just some of the words being used to describe director David Ayer’s latest.

Some running themes in a lot of the write-ups include a disappointing lack of the Joker, the ‘sexist’ portrayal of Margot… Read the full story

And he also pointed out he had made the movie ‘for the fans’, and had loved doing so.
