Star Wars nuts have been given a wonderful nostalgic gift with the rediscovery of this excellent, basic teaser trailer from a film called ‘Revenge Of The Jedi’.
Naturally this eventually became Return Of The Jedi – presumably because ‘revenge’ is not the course of the Jedi, as Yoda himself states in The Empire Strikes Back.
The long-forgotten teaser, recently dug out by The Academy of Motion Picture Art and Science, isn’t exactly eye-popping – using just an old fashioned text flying effect, coupled with dramatic music.
But what follows is further from the kind of trailers we’re used to know than you could possibly imagine.
