It looks like Will Smith’s character isn’t the only one not returning for the Independence Day reboot.
Jeff Goldblum – who thankfully is returning for Independence Day: Resurgence – has revealed that someone close to his character won’t be seen 20 years after the original.
His character David was married to Connie, played by Margaret Colin, who was pretty important in implementing a plan to save the world as the President’s advisor, but sadly she won’t be there to assist in saving the day again.
