Whoopi Goldberg has weighed in on the ongoing diversity in film debate.
Goldberg, who has hosted the Oscars four times, said the Oscars aren’t biased towards white people because they gave her a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 1991 for Ghost.
Speaking on US talk show The View, she said: ‘I won once. So it can’t be that racist.’
The actor also said she felt ‘the issue is not the Academy’ when it comes to representation.
