Kristen Stewart has said people should stop talking about gender equality and do something about it.
Stewart’s comments came during an interview with Variety at the Sundance Film Festival.
Referring to the ongoing debate about representation as ‘boring’, the Twilight franchise star said those concerned should ‘go do something’.
She told Variety: ‘Instead of sitting around and complaining about that, do something. Go write something, go do something.’
Admitting that her answer was ‘easy to say’, she went onto explain that it was hard to make films whatever your gender.
