The director of Marvel’s Black Panther has been announced – and it’s the man behind new boxing movie Creed.
Californian Ryan Coogler will direct the standalone superhero film following the success of his recent release, starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone.
Black Panther, which tells the story of the first black superhero to hit mainstream comics, is slated for 2018 with an expected budget of around £110m – a major step up from Creed’s £24million budget.
