Steven Spielberg has promised fans that he’ll never remake Jaws.
The veteran director decided to set the record straight on the matter amid rumours that a new business deal could lead to him revisiting the 1975 classic.
‘I would never remake one of my own movies – starting with Jaws,’ he told Deadline.
But while the 69-year-old has ruled out films directed by himself, he’s definitely up for rebooting some of the titles from his production company Amblin, which he founded with film producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall in 1981.
