Will Poulter has landed the part of demonic clown Pennywise in the upcoming film reboot of It.
We’re not clowning around, people.
The 1990 original TV miniseries, based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name, saw Tim Curry in the role.
Poulter reportedly saw off competition from the likes of Mark Rylance and Ben Mendelsohn (who surely would have CRUSHED IT).
According to Variety, Poulter was picked after film bosses noticed the positive reaction to his performance in upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio western The Revenant.
