The issue of sexism in Hollywood may finally have a simple answer and we’ve got George Clooney to thank for it.
The Oscar-winning actor has admitted that actresses should demand to be cast in roles written for men, just like Sandra Bullock did for her latest part in Our Brand Is Crisis.
Speaking at Toronto International Film Festival, George told The Wrap that ‘the minute [Sandra] called and said she wanted to play the role that had been written as a man’ the film picked up production after languishing in development.
‘There’s a lot more out there if people just started thinking,’ he added.
