Skrillex and Rick Ross have released a new video for their track, Purple Lamborghini, from the Suicide Squad soundtrack, and Jared Leto’s Joker plays a bigger role in it than he does in the movie.

Many critics of Suicide Squad have bemoaned the fact Leto’s spin on The Joker barely appears in DC’s third attempt to kick-start a movie universe, and with all his supposed rat and condom planting ‘method acting’ against fellow cast members – what was… Read the full story

Zack Snyder could be under fire as the weakest link in DC films after it was revealed he WAS involved in critically savaged Batman spinoff Suicide Squad.

The film opened to dire reviews last week – hitting cinemas just five months after the equally badly received Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (which some even say now looks good in comparison).

And now fans are smelling a rat after it was exposed director Zack was in charge of the cameras for one of the scenes… Read the full story

Daisy Ridley isn’t quite sick of travelling to galaxies far far away just yet, as she’s signed up for another blockbuster sci-fi franchise in waiting.

The Star Wars’ actress has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s upcoming adaptation of Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking, a young adult sci-fi series set in a dystopian world where all living creatures can hear each other’s thoughts.

A large portion of Chaos Walking is focused around Prentisstown, the only human settlement on the planet New World which is solely populated by males. Just imagine.

Give solo cinema going a try (Picture: Getty/Stone)

Last week I went to the cinema to see a double bill of Suicide Squad and Independence Day: Resurgence, but while I was purchasing my tickets two of the staff members seemed to take issue with the fact I was seeing the films solo.

‘You’re going on your own?’ the dude serving me says before his male co-worker adds ‘she must have been dumped.’

They both started chuckling to themselves while I just smiled, because going to the cinema alone is actually the best.

Here’s why…

1. You can go whenever you’re free

Zhang Yimou, director of the forthcoming action film The Great Wall, has spoken out against the accusations of ‘whitewashing’ following the casting of Matt Damon.

Many fans were left angry after seeing Matt Damon cast in a role which many assumed would be played by a Chinese actor because of the film’s Chinese setting and story.

Yimou, however, has spoken about the backlash to Entertainment Weekly, saying: ‘Our film is not about the construction of the Great Wall. Matt Damon is not playing a role that… Read the full story

This rubbish extra in the Dunkirk trailer has become the internet’s new hero

The internet went wild earlier this week after the first teaser trailer was released for Christopher Nolan’s World War Two epic, Dunkirk.

It gave little away about the film – but offered a few stoic shots of army squadrons on the beach, before cutting to a group of terrified squaddies who are seen cowering in the face of a presumed strike from the enemy.

In short, it looks like Christopher Nolan is going to provide us with a suitably sombre retelling of Operation Dynamo, the 1940 mission that evacuated over 300,000 Allied troops when they became trapped by the Nazis.

But it seems that there’s one extra in the film who didn’t quite get the sombre and stoic instruction that was presumably given by Chris Nolan.

Cara Delevinge says she felt like she was going mad filming Suicide Squad.

No, nothing to do with being around Jared Leto and his method acting weirdness, but because she was trying to get into character.

In the David Ayer film Cara plays Enchantress, a 6000-year-old witch.

The model told The Sun she had some dark moments in which she thought about killing people.

She said: ‘I tried to imagine the darkest s**t for a long time, like seeing people crumble and their skin melt in front of me or making people implode and trying to use my imagination in dark ways.
