Some people might be bored of the issue of Hollywood sexism, but until women are treated equally to their male counterparts, not just in the entertainment industry but in the world, it’s never going to go away.
Actresses, female directors and dozens of other key figures have spoken up about the sexism they have faced in their career. From Emma Thompson who said ageism and unfair treatment of women is ‘worse than ever’ to Helen Mirren calling it ‘f**king outrageous’.
In most cases of women speaking out, the man committing the sexist act remains anonymous, no doubt because these ladies fear their career will be negatively affected by speaking the sad truth.
In some cases though, Hollywood’s men manage to out themselves with their own sexist comments, attitude or behaviour.
So here’s a few to remind you just how ignorant some industry guys can be…
