Watching this film mash up of Toy Story and Boyhood is making us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Toyhood gives the popular animated franchise the Boyhood treatment following Andy over a period of 15 years as he grows up from a boy to a teen on the brink of adulthood as he leaves for college.
There are plenty of clips of him messing around with his best friends Woody and Buzz Lightyear with the song Hero by Family of the Year playing in the background.
The track was used in the Boyhood trailer and this video also shows quotes from movie critics praising Richard Linklater’s epic coming-of-age drama.
