We finally have a proper first look at Jared Leto’s Joker from the forthcoming Suicide Squad and he looks like a maniac.
There is nothing subtle about this newest take on the character and that is a good thing, as Batman’s nemesis is anything but.
His short shock of green hair, pale bleached out skin, smudgy black eyes, metal teeth and heavily tattooed body, coupled with his maniacal grin (mid laugh maybe?) and his dead-eyed gaze, all lean towards the possibility that David Ayer and Jared Leto have created something truly nightmarish.
But we’ll have to wait until 2016 rolls around and we get to watch the performance.
