The ‘real-life’ house from Pixar movie Up could be donated rather than demolished.
A Seattle house that looks very similar to Carl Fredricksen’s home in Up is facing demolition.
It was bought by Edith Macefield in 2006, who turned down $1million from developers as well as housing assistance to save the house she’d lived in for 60 years.
Edith died in 2008 and Barry Martin, a construction superintendent she befriended, took control of her estate at her request.
According to news site Seattlepi.com, a woman who purchased the house in April with the view to turning it into a pie shop, has since pulled out of the sale.
