Green Day star Billie Joe Armstrong is appearing in a rom com sparking confusion and excitement among fans.
The 44-year-old American Idiot singer plays a punk rock dad (which shouldn’t be a stretch for the punk singing dad-of-two) called Perry in new film Ordinary World.
Perhaps inspired by Beyonce’s recent ‘visual album’ Lemonade, it could be that Billie Joe is making a ‘visual full-length feature with music’ as he is soundtracking the entire thing as well as starring as the lead character.
Co-starring Selma Blair as a rather frustrated-looking wife Karen, and Judy Greer as an old flame who offers him a second chance at stardom, BJA took to Twitter to share ‘the trailer for Billie Joe’s upcoming movie’.
