The Film Theorists are back and this time, it’s Star Trek who is the centre of a new conspiracy.
According to them, The Star Trek Federation is fascist.
They allege the films and televisions series are littered by fascist allegories – The first being that every story is told from Federation’s point of view which according to them is symbolic of a controlling government.
Second – the Federation’s mission statement to explore strange new worlds, new life, and civilisations is not as benevolent as it seems.
