The director of Star Wars: Rogue One has explained exactly what the title of the sci-fi drama is all about.
Gareth Edwards takes the wheel for the Star Wars spin off and says the name of the film relates to the whole feel of the project.
‘Rogue One is a military call sign to some extent, but this is the first film that’s gone off-piste and is not part of the saga — or the Anakin story — so it’s the “rogue” one, you know,’ Gareth explained.
