A terminally ill Star Wars fan has died just days after achieving his last wish to see the new Star Wars spin-off film Rogue One early.
Neil Hanvey was allowed to watch the film from his hospital bed ahead of its release in December after a social media campaign, #RogueOneWish, backed by Mark Hamill.
The 36-year-old died on Monday at St Michael’s Hospice after watching the film at the weekend.
The hospice revealed that the film’s director Gareth Edwards was instrumental in arranging the special preview.
