The release of a biopic about Tupac Shakur has been held up due to a row over the rights to one of his songs.
The movie, called All Eyez On Me, was due to be released in September and the trailer promises great things.
But Daz Dillinger, AKA Dat N***a Daz, has thrown a spanner into the works by laying claim to the rights to the rapper’s track Ambitionz Az a Ridah, from his fourth album released in 1996.
The song features prominently in the film and producer Dillinger, who worked on its production, is now asking for £57,000 in royalties… Read the full story
