A promotional poster for X-Men: Apocalypse which shows Jennifer Lawrence being strangled has angered fans.
In the poster, Jennifer Lawrence’s character Mystique is seen being choked by Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse in a still from the film with the tagline, ‘Only the strong will survive.’
Many fans on social media have criticized the poster, with actress Rose McGowan also taking to Facebook, saying ‘Fuck this sh*t’ in response to a blog post.
