We can only imagine the excitement/havoc that is caused when a Hollywood film is shot in a sleepy, unassuming town.
But when that film happens to be Star Wars: Episode 8, it’s a whole new level of hysteria that belongs in a galaxy, far far away.
Filming has just wrapped in the coastal Irish town of Crookhaven, West Cork – and now the Star Wars team have taken the liberty of printing a newspaper advert in the Irish Examiner to thank the townspeople for the ‘warm welcome’ that they received.
With the Star Wars logo painted in a patriotic green, the whole thing is a classy tribute from the crew.
