Disney is reportedly considering a live action remake of The Little Mermaid.
The classic 1989 animation could be given a reboot following on from the success of Maleficent, Cinderella and The Jungle Book.
According to Deadline, nothing is being officially developed yet but Disney bosses are considering whether to green light an idea for the film.
Early talks have taken place with major producers some with a ‘strong connection to the studio’.
