It’s been a whole nine years since the last instalment in the Friday The 13th franchise, which didn’t get the most glowing of reviews.
The 36-year-old horror saga, following murderous Jason Voorhees’ blood-splatting rampage, began with John Carpenter’s 1980 hit and has since spawned an incredible eleven sequels.
Now we’re gearing up for the 13th as production begins on the new film – after Warner Bros relinquished the rights to Platinum Dunes – in time for its release in January 2017.
