Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander has been cast as the new Lara Croft in the forthcoming Tomb Raider reboot.
The actress – who recently nabbed an Academy Award for her role in The Danish Girl – was revealed as the newest incarnation of the character on Thursday, ending much speculation over who would step in to Lara’s shoes.
