The BBC have announced plans to remake classic children’s animation Watership Down and disappointingly have decided to cave to the whims of easily offended parents by cutting out the scary bits.
Executive producer, Rory Aitken told the Telegraph, ‘while we won’t shy away from the darkness in the book, visually it won’t be as brutal and scarring.’
