Emily VanCamp says her Captain America: Civil War character Sharon Carter isn’t just ‘the girlfriend’.
VanCamp is reprising her role from The Winter Soldier – although back then she was known as Agent 13 – and once again she has Steve Rogers’ heart racing.
But although there are some lovely romantic moments between Sharon and Steve in Civil War, VanCamp says her no-nonsense S.H.I.E.L.D. operative is way more than just someone to go gooey over the hero.
