The production for Trainspotting 2 is finally underway!
Filming doesn’t begin until May, but the cast have assembled and things are moving forward for the sequel coming 20 years after the original.
Robert Carlyle, who plays Begbie in the cult classic, and author Irvine Welsh were seen at the Trainspotting 2 production office in West Lothian. They were apparently there to meet the crew ahead of the start of filming. Irvine tweeted at his excitement at having the cast of the 1996 movie back together again:
