Charlize Theron says ‘gorgeous’ actresses have a hard time getting roles.
Apparently it isn’t just actors of colour or actresses over a certain age who are being shut out in Hollywood.
Theron, who is – let’s face it – STUNNING, told GQ that she has seen beautiful women lose out on ‘meaty’ roles because they don’t ‘look the part’.
She said: ‘Jobs with real gravitas go to people that are physically right for them and that’s the end of the story.
‘How many roles are out there for the gorgeous, f*****g gown-wearing eight-foot model?
‘When meaty roles come through, I’ve been in the room and pretty people get turned away first.’
