You might have never seen his face in Star Wars, but Erik Bauersfeld’s voice is one of the most recogniseable in Star Wars.
But sadly, the man who voiced Admiral Ackbar in Return Of The Jedi and The Force Awakens has passed away, aged 93.
The voice actor died on Sunday at his home in Berkeley, California, but will be remembered for uttering one of the most famous lines in Star Wars history.
‘It’s a trap!’
While he is most famous for voicing the rebellion Admiral, he also voiced Jabba the Hutt’s ghostly steward Bib Fortuna in Episode VI.
