Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show and recounted some of his failed auditions for classic movies.
The Demolition and Nightcrawler star revealed he previously auditioned for parts in Dude, Where’s My Car? and Peter Jackson’s Lord Of The Rings trilogy. The latter for the main Hobbit himself, Frodo Baggins.
‘I auditioned for a lot of classic movies I’m not in,’ he joked.
