Star Wars actor John Boyega has explained some confusing comments he made about diversity during an acceptance speech.
As he collected best male performance at London’s Screen Nation Awards, he appeared to say he disapproved of complaints that the film industry is racist.
He said: ‘To complain about what is going on is not going to benefit us. It is not.
‘Be the change you want to be. Be the change. And continue and focus. Thank you so much.’
