The Caped Crusader is flying back to the big screen in another daring display of dashing dexterity as he duels dastardly delinquents and hoodwinks heinous hoodlums.
Which is another way of saying there’s a new Batman film – Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice – out on Friday, March 25 (Good Friday).
And that’s as good an excuse as any for a look back at the masked crime-fighter’s other cinematic forays, ranked in ascending order.
Note: this list doesn’t include the 1940s black and white serials or The Lego Movie, because they don’t really count, much as we might want them to.
