Now Macaulay Culkin is heading back to the big screen in Adam Green’s reinterpretation of Aladdin.
He stars opposite Orange Is The New Black’s Natasha Lyonne, Zoe Kravitz, Alia Shawkat and Har Mar Superstar in the film that takes the Arabian Night’s classic and transports it to modern day New York.
In this version, the magic lamp is a 3-D printer, the princess is a decadent socialite, the planet gets a sex-change and its population prints out an analogue version of the Internet.
How very hip.
This is the first feature film Culkin has starred in since 2007, having had a long stint in TV playing himself on The Jim Gaffingan Show and reprising his Kevin McAllister role, as well as voicing other characters, in Robot Chicken.
