Looks like that Men In Black/23 Jump Street crossover film is steam rolling ahead.
After the plans were revealed during the Sony hack drama last year, Variety are reporting that James Bobins (The Muppets/Flight Of The Conchords) will direct the proposed action-comedy.
Apparently the film will begin filming in June this year, with both Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill on board, but not Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones.
The Lego Movie’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller were originally said to be helming the project but a little Star Wars spin-off (centering on Han Solo) pulled them away. They’ll still signed as producers, allegedly.
