She might be a newly minted Oscar winner now, but there was a time when actress Brie Larson was also attempting to follow her musical dreams.
Because a decade ago, when the Room star was 16, she tried her hand at becoming a pop star – something which everybody’s remembered in the wake of her awards success.

At the time, she cited Maroon 5, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani and The Clash as musical influences – and revealed in an interview with Kidz World that she wrote songs about ‘what I am actually going through in my real life’.
