Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu has won the Best Director prize at this year’s Oscars – and it means he’s taking home more than just another award.

Alejandro picked up the gong for the brutal and brilliant The Revenant, which has also picked up Best Cinematography and a Best Actor nod for Leonardo DiCaprio (finally).

But it means that the Mexican filmmaker, who won the award last year for Birdman, has also now broken a 65-year-old Oscars record by becoming the first director… Read the full story
