Ryan Reynolds’ new movie Deadpool may have come out weeks after the Oscar nominations were announced, but that hasn’t stopped him from launching a hilarious last minute campaign to try to land the film an Academy Award.
The 39-year-old actor, who plays the foul-mouthed Marvel superhero, has listed a number of made-up categories he believes Deadpool should be recognised in, including Best Leaked Footage and Best Love Scene.
In a special poster, which was shared on his Twitter account, Ryan jokingly asks members of the Academy to vote for the hit movie, even though it’s not actually up for anything.
