Sacha Baron Cohen has used the premiere of his upcoming controversial film Grimsby to take a swipe at the Oscars racism’ scandal – in his own unique way.
The comedy actor, well known for divisive movies such as Borat and Bruno, took to the stage in character as Nobby to make a speech ahead of the first showing of Grimsby. And he wasn’t shy about referencing what is often deemed ‘the elephant in the room’ of the film world.
He said: ‘There’s no chance Grimbsy will get any Oscars this year. That is why we decided to cast two black actors.’
