Daniel Craig has reportedly hung up his swimming trunks for good, quitting as James Bond to star in US TV series Purity.
The rumours won’t come as a major shock to Bond fans, given that Craig, 47, did say he’d ‘rather slash his wrists’ than do a fifth Bond film last year.
But it will no doubt be of disappointment to the Bond franchise bigwigs who may have thought they could tempt him back.
After ten years and four films as Bond, Craig is now gearing up to start filming Purity, which is based on Jonathan Franzen’s novel.
