There are going to be three more Transformers films, arriving from 2017 onwards.
So depending on your view of the franchise, it’s time to stock up on a lot of popcorn or bed down in your air raid shelter.
Or if you think like Shia LaBoeuf, you can start preparing yourself for an eight-strong movie marathon in 2019, when the last one (for now) comes out.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Wahlberg is expected to return for the fifth and six installments after starring in the fourth – Age Of Extinction – with Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor.
However, only the fifth one will be directed by Transformers mastermind Michael Bay, making that one his last in the never-ending robot saga. Clearly he’s tired of explosions. No, wait. That can’t be it.
